The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Salman, in his opening address at the Qatar Economic Forum, said that Qatar will not allow short-term instability to determine its long-term direction. Qatar will continue to be a partner committed to mediation efforts, a reliable energy supplier, and a long-term investment partner. Our commitment remains steadfast, and our doors are always open to partnerships. Over the next five years, Qatar expects to tender for new infrastructure projects worth approximately $38.5 billion. A series of separate projects in the real estate and hospitality sectors are expected to attract $22.5 billion in private investment. These projects collectively represent over $60 billion in investment and investment opportunities. Mohammed bin Salman stated that diplomacy is closely linked to economic stability. Sustainable security cannot be achieved through cycles of escalation and retaliatory responses. Our region needs a framework in which the sovereignty of all countries is respected and no country poses a threat to another.
