Hainan province is advancing formation of a space-tourism platform: relevant
local operating entities have signed cooperation agreements and are conducting
preliminary project planning in accordance with law, while simultaneously
advancing statutory project evaluations and approvals. The province plans to
integrate existing provincial space cultural-and-tourism resources, prioritize
commercial project delivery, operator development and tourism-activity
innovation, and will guide operators’ deep participation and encourage
private-capital investment in space-tourism projects.
