According to South Korean media reports, South Korean Prime Minister Han Sung-sook stated on the 21st, "The government will establish a dedicated support system as soon as possible and select the most suitable location through a fair and transparent process to ensure the smooth progress of preparations for the Global AI Hub." The Global AI Hub is a global AI cooperation platform to be built in South Korea. Its core involves international organizations, governments of various countries, academic and research institutions, and non-profit organizations, who will jointly utilize AI technology and infrastructure and establish cooperative mechanisms to solve global problems. In May of this year, the South Korean government held a vision launch event for the Global AI Hub, with participating parties, including nine international organizations and five multilateral development banks, pledging to cooperate.
