According to Iranian media outlet Fars News, citing a spokesperson for the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, contrary to previous portrayals, the United States maintains an "unreachable" intelligence network in Washington. He stated, "Previously, the United States was often depicted as possessing an unreachable intelligence network. But after these centers were attacked by Iranian missiles along the Persian Gulf coast and in northern Iraq, it became clear that these targets were not unreachable. On the contrary, Iran, with its formidable capabilities, successfully reconnoitered and attacked these targets." He called this a "major intelligence failure" for the United States, and one that occurred in front of all of its competitors and allies.
