Sept 21 — At a regular briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun,
responding to a question citing a US official’s claim that China has not fully
resumed rare-earths supply despite prior summit pledges, deferred to the
relevant Chinese agencies. He reiterated that China is committed to maintaining
the stability and security of global production and supply chains for critical
minerals and said both sides should jointly implement leaders’ consensus to
preserve stable US‑China economic and trade relations.
