Industry sources say a major Moscow refinery has stopped crude processing after a Ukrainian drone strike on September 20 ignited fires in its main distillation units. Moscow’s mayor said an industrial facility was damaged during the drone attacks. Three industry sources said drones crashed into the refinery and both primary crude distillation units burned; repairs and restart could take several weeks. The two core units are AVT-6, capacity 21,400 tons/day (53% of the plant), and the EURO+ complex, capacity 18,800 tons/day (47%), totaling 40,200 tons/day of crude processing capacity.
