According to Arab media reports, Iraqi armed factions have reached an agreement with a government committee to ensure the completion of the process of bringing weapons under state control by June 2027. Sources say that under the agreement, the factions will begin transferring their strategic weapons to the Iraqi government in March 2027. The armed factions have also pledged to cease any military activities that violate Iraqi state authority.
