According to Iraqi media outlet Al-Maalomah, several Iraqi politicians and analysts stated that the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq on schedule would not create a security vacuum, while emphasizing that Iraqi security forces must remain fully prepared. Rahim al-Daraji, Secretary General of the Iraqi Safwa Movement, stated that Iraq still needs to exercise caution after the US withdrawal, especially considering the current regional and international tensions, because Washington "has never kept its promises."
