The US should prepare to confront a global superpower; Iran is not the country the US previously imagined, a fact the US now recognizes. Iran also stated that in any confrontation, it will deploy new weapons with greater range, accuracy, and destructive power, and the battlefield is the best environment to test these weapons. The US should not misjudge the situation, and should be particularly wary of misinformation and speculative assumptions from Israel, lest it be dragged into a situation that further damages its international reputation.
