Lithuania will continue to bar transit of Belarusian potash through its ports,
potentially blocking a plan U.S. President Trump on Monday called a "major deal"
to buy Belarusian fertilizer. Lithuania's foreign minister said on Tuesday the
country sees "no reason" to revisit EU sanctions on Minsk, which include a ban
on transshipment of Belarus-mined fertilizer within the bloc. Trump said the
U.S. was cooperating with Minsk to secure more supply amid a trade dispute with
Canada; if implemented, Lithuania would have been the most viable transit route.
The Lithuanian presidential office said it has no details on the proposed
agreement.
