Two trade sources and port data show daily export flows via Russia’s Black Sea
port Novorossiysk rose about 50% in the first 20 days of September versus September
August, recovering to near-normal loading levels after earlier drone-related
disruptions. Estimated average loadings for Urals, KEBCO and Siberian Light
crude were about 650,000 bpd in the first 20 days of September, up from roughly
420,000 bpd in August. Russian rerouting of Kazakh crude away from Baltic ports
boosted KEBCO volumes through Novorossiysk; sources say the port handled about
350,000 tons of KEBCO blend in the first two weeks of September.
