UK-based Middle East Eye, citing multiple insiders, reports Turkish Airlines,
its low-cost unit AJet and Pegasus Airlines have suspended all Turkey-Iran
routes from the 21st. Insiders said the suspensions follow a new round of US
sanctions on Iran announced in late August that have recently come into effect
and include aviation measures; the sanctions target Boeing and also affect
Airbus because Airbus uses US-made components.
