Guotou Intelligent announced it began mass production of 1,000 security robots
on Sept. 22 at a launch in Xiamen, unveiling three new series—Yuanshu, Yuanbao
and Yuanchi—and upgrading robot 'brain' and terminal hardware capabilities in
tandem. Its wholly owned subsidiary Xiamen Meiya Pico Information Security
Research Institute signed a cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Zhiyuan Kutu
Technology to jointly develop commercial security-robot technology and
accelerate industry scenario deployment.
