UK Prime Minister Burnham said on Tuesday that, despite differences on some
foreign-policy issues, he established 'good lines of communication' with US
President Trump at their first meeting in New York. They discussed Ukraine, the
Falkland Islands and trade; after the meeting Trump called Burnham a 'born
dealmaker' and renewed criticism of Britain’s plan to resolve the status of the
US-UK military base on Diego Garcia, calling it a 'bad deal'.
