At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts declined, with SC crude oil down 4%, ethylene glycol (EG) down nearly 4%, and staple fiber, lithium carbonate, and bottled chips down over 3%, while methanol, asphalt, and PTA down over 2%. On the upside, TSR20 rubber, container shipping to Europe, rubber, and Shanghai nickel rose over 1%, while platinum, industrial silicon, and fiberboard rose nearly 1%.
