According to CNBC, the US Department of Justice urged a federal judge not to
block Trump's decision to bar MS NOW, CNN and Politico from the White House,
saying in a court filing that access 'is a privilege, not a right' and that the
Friday ban was prompted by national security concerns. The filing was submitted
ahead of a telephonic hearing on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the
District of Columbia before Judge Timothy Kelly, where the three outlets seek an
injunction.
