According to Tasnim News Agency, the government of Jask district in Hormozgan province, Iran, stated that explosions may be heard in Jask city between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM local time on September 24 (12:30 PM to 4:30 PM Beijing time on September 24). The government stated that the sounds originated from planned controlled demolition operations and that the public need not worry.
