According to CNBC, Chinese humanoid robot company Unix AI is accelerating its expansion into overseas markets and considering a future initial public offering (IPO). Unix AI founder and CEO Yang Fengyu stated that the company is "planning an IPO in the future," but the specific timing depends on market conditions and regulatory factors. "Most importantly, it currently depends on the deployment of our robots in real-world application environments," Yang said, noting that the Chinese market remains the largest market for the company's humanoid robots. He explained that Unix AI, founded in 2024, has rapidly expanded its overseas business since the beginning of this year, entering markets such as Singapore and India, with applications in areas including hotel cleaning and retail. He said, "We are quite optimistic about the robot products we are currently selling overseas." Yang revealed that over 50% of the company's overall orders come from customer renewals and upgrades of existing products.
