US-China Business Council president Tan Sen said in a recent interview that
meetings between US and Chinese leaders tend to produce positive effects and
past summits have injected momentum into bilateral ties. He called high-level
communication irreplaceable at this stage and said he expects summit diplomacy
to guide US-China relations onto a constructive, strategic-stability path.
