At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. SC crude oil rose nearly 7%, fuel oil rose over 6%, synthetic rubber, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and asphalt rose over 5%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), benzene, and TSR20 rubber rose over 4%. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell nearly 5%, platinum and silver fell over 3%, red dates fell nearly 3%, palladium and live pigs fell over 2%, container shipping to Europe fell nearly 2%, and polysilicon fell over 1%.
