On Sept. 24, Ministry of Culture and Tourism spokesman and Vice Minister Wang Jianhua said at a State Council Information Office briefing that China is already the world’s largest source market and a major destination for international tourists. He said the ministry will work with other departments to continue improving the inbound tourism service system by easing visa procedures, payments, tax refunds, guiding services, lodging and transport, and by introducing more inbound tourism products that blend traditional and modern elements.
