According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, Mahmoud Vaezi, deputy leader of Iran's Moderate Development Party, stated that Iranian President Pezechzian's speech at the United Nations was a "direct and genuine voice" of the Iranian people. Vaezi said that Pezechzian's speech at the UN General Assembly revolved around two core themes: first, strengthening both hard and soft power to safeguard national security and enhance deterrence capabilities; and second, Iran's willingness to participate in dialogue and promote lasting peace, provided that the rights of the Iranian people are genuinely respected and guaranteed.
