EHang said it was the only eVTOL firm invited on a recent delegation to Phuket
led by Thailand Civil Aviation Authority director Manat Chavanaprayoon, and held
talks with Phuket governor Chotinrin Kerdsom and provincial officials on green
transport and the low‑altitude economy. The parties preliminarily selected
Phuket’s first low‑altitude sandbox test site and established a joint working
group to coordinate takeoff/landing site surveys, route planning, operations
permits, and flight‑safety arrangements to accelerate unmanned eVTOL commercial
rollout in Phuket.
