Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar: I was pleased to co-chair the event with the Greek External Affairs Minister entitled "Artificial Intelligence in the Context of International Peace and Security, with a Focus on Maritime Security." The event emphasized the need to fully leverage the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence, anticipate its impact, and mitigate its risks. We also highlighted how, in the maritime sector, artificial intelligence can enhance maritime situational awareness, search and rescue capabilities, disaster response capabilities, suspicious activity identification, and the resilience of ports and critical infrastructure.
