Lijian-1's first-flight total assembly took about three months; as it moves into
high-density, routine operations the program has effectively reached a monthly
launch cadence. Nansha final-assembly facility can produce up to 30 rockets a
year and has shortened a single rocket's assembly cycle to roughly 15 days.
Commercial rocket production is shifting from build-to-order toward
pre-production/stockpiling, with order-to-launch lead times now compressible to
under six months. Advanced manufacturing is driving a move from
mission-by-mission delivery to more stable, scaled space-transport services.
