Baogang Co. said it won a procurement contract to supply marine H‑section steel
(H‑beams) for a central SOE's first mid‑deepwater large offshore oilfield
construction project. Baogang's marine H‑beams have already been used at scale
in other central SOE offshore oil and gas projects; the award marks the
company's first entry into this central SOE's offshore oilfield supplier base.
