Oman foreign minister Busaidi said he met Iran foreign minister Araghchi on the
sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York to discuss continuing efforts
to create space for dialogue, de‑escalation and regional cooperation, building
mutual trust and reaching consensus to support security and stability. He said
they also explored efforts to ensure the security of navigation and freedom of
passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
