Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority said a report shows some charterers are
forcing vessels to use "illegal routes", exposing ships, owners, masters and
crew to financial loss and life-safety risk, and said the practice will be severely
limit affected vessels' future ability to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
