NIO-SW (09866.HK) said a Geely Holding Group subsidiary signed a formal
agreement to subscribe for newly issued equity in NIO Energy by contributing its
100% stake in EasyConnect Technology plus RMB 640 mln cash, subject to
regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. On closing the Geely unit
will hold 30.0% of NIO Energy, NIO subsidiary NIO Holding Limited will retain
63.6% and existing investor Wuhan Guangchuang Xinxing Technology Phase I Venture
Capital Fund (LP) will hold 6.4%. The transaction values NIO Energy at about RMB
16.0 bln post‑money.
