Morningstar analyst Phelix Lee stated in a report that DRAM shortages may keep memory chip prices high until 2028, but the upward momentum may slow as end-device manufacturers increase their countermeasures. He pointed out that long-term agreements limit the scope for significant price increases by South Korean memory chip suppliers.
