SASAC deputy director Pang Xiaogang said at a State Council Information Office
briefing on Sept 28 that the 'six networks' are a major deployment in the
opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. SASAC said it has mobilized central
SOEs to prioritize planning, accelerate implementation of major projects and
landmark works, and allocated roughly 2 tln yuan in annual-plan investment for
the six networks; implementation is reported to be on track.
