He cited Apple’s A-series, NVIDIA and Qualcomm (in-house design + TSMC foundry) and Tesla’s in-house batteries produced alongside CATL, LG and Sunwoda, arguing those models have strengthened, not weakened, suppliers. Li Auto will not adopt a zero-sum "de-XX-ification" approach to its R&D strategy and he expects other leading Chinese smart EV firms to avoid that mindset.
