China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued a notice launching its 2026 green factory recommendation and dynamic management work. 2026 recommendation scope covers green factories, green supply‑chain leading enterprises and green industrial parks. Enterprises and parks that meet the Interim Measures for Gradient Cultivation and Management of Green Factories may apply voluntarily. Provincial industry and information technology authorities will dynamically manage existing national green factories and green industrial parks; those that fail to meet the new evaluation requirements will be removed from the national lists according to procedures.
