According to Al Jazeera, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi stated at a press conference that negotiations conducted through channels such as Pakistan and Qatar in the past were often lengthy, but after Iran submitted its latest peace proposal, he now considers the negotiations "more serious." He said that although the US president had previously rejected the proposal, negotiations are still ongoing, which means that Iran may still be willing to make concessions, or at least continue to communicate with the US. Araqchi indicated that there is still hope. He believes that this round of negotiations may be more serious than before and may move forward more quickly, and Iran is currently awaiting a final response from the US.
