Industrialization that central SOEs must accelerate and upgrade deployments in
strategic emerging and future industries. He said some sectors still lack
competitive advantage and urged a "lead a batch, catch up a batch, cultivate a
batch" approach to drive differentiated industrial layouts. SASAC wants to
consolidate advantages in new energy and aerospace, step up efforts in
artificial intelligence and new materials, and pre-emptively cultivate frontier
tracks including quantum technology, nuclear fusion energy and biomanufacturing.
