Lockheed Martin: Avio USA has broken ground on its first solid rocket motor factory in the United States, located in Virginia. The factory will produce thousands of solid rocket motors annually and create 1,500 jobs; it is expected to be completed by the end of 2028 and begin production in early 2029.
