BARCLAYS said if an AI-driven investment boom sustains a pickup in US productivity, the 30-year US Treasury yield could reach 6%. Stronger productivity could allow faster economic growth and prompt markets to raise long-term expectations for Federal Reserve policy, pushing up long-dated yields. The 30-year yield has risen above 5.61%, its highest level since 2002.
