DeepSeek has open-sourced base infrastructure components for Huawei's Ascend compute platform, releasing the TileLang high-level compiler, compute libraries and a distributed communication library. Each Ascend-targeted component corresponds to DeepSeek's earlier NVIDIA-focused open-source components. Huawei engineers provided extensive support during development; the two parties said they jointly optimized compute and communication for a 128-card supernode built on Ascend 950. DeepSeek said it will continue to advance technology and collaborate with the community to build an open software ecosystem.
