On Sept. 29 in Shanghai, Customs Commissioner Sun Meijun and head of the Russian
Federal Customs Service Pikalov co-chaired the 18th meeting of the China-Russia
Prime Ministers' Regular Consultations Committee customs cooperation
subcommittee. They reviewed implementation of leaders' consensus over the past
year and reached broad agreement to deepen smart customs, expand an
international trade single window, advance AEO mutual recognition and
risk‑management cooperation, and safeguard border‑port throughput to promote
secure and efficient bilateral trade. The meeting minutes were signed. Deputy
Commissioner Zhang Baofeng attended.
