Oct. 1 — Kunshan GCL Optoelectronics Co. said its single-junction perovskite
solar cell module has completed on-orbit verification payload integration and
entered final pre-launch preparations. The devices are scheduled to fly on
Beijing Ziwei Yutong Technology’s B300-series small cargo spacecraft for
performance verification in a near-circular low Earth orbit of about 360 km and
41.5° inclination. Company described the flight as an important engineering test
for domestic perovskite cells aimed at space power applications.
