Sources said on Oct. 1 that SERES and Huawei, which jointly announced a change to their cooperation model on Sept. 15, have opened a new round of talks and expect further adjustments. The pair will issue a joint statement later today. Insiders say the Wenjie "exclusive-dealer" model is unlikely to change; any revisions are expected to further deepen cooperation rather than simply shift control from "Huawei-led" to "SERES-led, Huawei-enabler."
