A new mineral reserves filing with the Ministry of Natural Resources records an
additional 1.0468 mln tons of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) at the Jiada
Lithium deposit in western Sichuan, taking its registered LCE to 2.5310 mln
tons. The filing reports 33.523 mln tons of ore, 423,800 tons of Li2O and
an average grade of 1.26%. Jiada sits in the western Kunlun–Songpan–Ganzi
segment of the Asian lithium belt, a key Chinese hard‑rock lithium province.
