The CEO of Gas Malaysia stated that a final investment decision regarding the Kedah regasification terminal is expected in the second half of 2027. The planned Kedah regasification terminal is projected to be commercially operational by the end of 2030. This planned regasification terminal will allow the company to bypass Petronas and source natural gas directly from other suppliers.
