A recent AP-NORC poll shows a large number of Americans hold a negative view of Trump's handling of the Iran issue. According to the poll, 71% of American adults disapprove of Trump's performance on Iran. Furthermore, 69% of respondents said that going to war with Iran is "not worth it." Iran's Mehr News Agency cited the survey, stating that the results show rising public opposition to the US government's policy on war with Iran, although opinions differ across political groups.
