Chicago Fed President GOOLSBEE said the latest employment data show the US labor
market remains stable and that inflation staying too high remains the Fed's
primary policy concern. On whether the Fed should raise rates or pause this
month he said "there are valid arguments for both options," and he wants to see
more evidence that inflation is moving back toward the 2% target.
