Shanghai Release, citing China Railway Shanghai Group, says the Yangtze River Delta rail network expects to carry 3.72 mln passengers on Oct. 3. Since the holiday transport period began on Sept. 23 through Oct. 2 the network has carried 33.505 mln passengers, averaging about 3.35 mln per day, indicating strong travel demand.
