USS George H.W. Bush arrived off Phuket, Thailand, on Oct. 4 with about 4,800 personnel aboard for crew rest. The US Navy said the carrier and its strike group supported "Epic Fury" operations and a maritime blockade over the past six months; this is the carrier’s first port visit since March. The ship is anchored offshore and crew will rest on the island from Oct. 4–9.
