President Trump is planning to sign an executive order on Monday to lower diesel
costs. Measures would direct the Treasury to review certain diesel-related
taxes, push states to expand supplies of tax-exempt dyed (red) diesel for
agriculture, construction and other off-road uses, urge states to cut some fuel
taxes, and ease enforcement of restrictions on dyed diesel use. The White House
has ruled out a diesel export ban.
