UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on the 5th a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz was struck by an "unidentified projectile", causing an engine-room fire; crew are fighting the blaze. The captain reported no casualties and no environmental damage detected to date. Earlier UKMTO notices said two tankers and an LPG carrier were attacked in the Strait on the 3rd and 4th, and another tanker was turned back by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the 5th.
