A note claiming explosives was found in the lavatory of Ajet Airlines flight
4180 on Oct. 5; all 136 passengers and seven crew were evacuated without
injuries. The Ankara–Sanliurfa flight landed at Sanliurfa GAP Airport at 20:05
local time. Security teams swept the aircraft, will inspect checked baggage and
conduct handwriting analysis on passengers to trace the note’s origin. Sanliurfa
airport issued a NOTAM and was temporarily closed during the response.
